01Our target

This site targets conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The European Accessibility Act (in force since June 28, 2025) applies to sellers serving EU consumers. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA and review this statement as the site evolves.

02What this site is built with

Accessibility is not a plugin here — it is the markup. The measures below are part of the site's code, and each one can be checked on any page:

• Semantic HTML with one <h1> per page and a logical heading order.
• A skip link as the first focusable element on every page.
• Full keyboard operability with a visible focus ring that is never covered by sticky elements.
• Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 and non-text contrast of at least 3:1, enforced through fixed design tokens that are never lightened.
• Touch targets of at least 24px; primary buttons are 48px tall.
• No horizontal scrolling at 320px width, and the layout stays usable at 200% zoom.
• prefers-reduced-motion honored sitewide — every animation switches off when you ask for less motion.
• Informative alt text on every product and build image; purely decorative blueprint drawings are hidden from assistive technology.
• FAQs built on native <details> elements — the answers exist in the HTML and need no script to be read.
• No autoplaying media anywhere: the build video plays only when you press play.
• No cookies, no trackers, and no accessibility overlay widgets.

03Known limitations

The downloadable PDF plan sheets are technical drawings optimized for print; they are not yet fully tagged for screen readers. The build video has no spoken audio, so captions are not required; if narration is added, captions will ship with it.

This statement was prepared by self-assessment against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, last reviewed on July 20, 2026. This website is a set of static files; the checkout runs on our Shopify store, and the accessibility of the checkout itself is the platform's responsibility. Because we serve customers in the European Union, we align with the European Accessibility Act and review this page as the site changes.
